Chicken-Fried Steak Sirloin
A Texas favorite- golden and crispy fried steak that can be enjoyed any time of the day.

Ingredients:
- 2 steaks
- Corn oil for frying
- 3 eggs
- 3 cups potato starch
- 2 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper
- 2 tsp garlic granules
- 2 tsp onion granules
Directions:
- In a deep fryer or heavy skillet, bring the corn oil to 375°F.
- Place the beef on a sturdy surface and hit with a tenderizer until the meat is 1/2 inch thick.
- In a bowl, whip the eggs until they are combined.
- In another bowl, take 1 cup of the potato starch, season it with 1 tablespoon of salt.
- In another bowl, add 2 cups of potato starch, paprika, salt, pepper, onion granules, garlic granules, dried thyme, and mix.
- Take one steak, dab it off with a paper towel and coast it in the potato starch and salt
- Then dip it in the egg wash, completely coating it.
- Make sure you strain off the extra egg or the next mix will get clumpy.
- Completely coat in the seasoned starch.
- Lay the steak in the oil, always lying away from you.
- Cook on each side for about 4 minutes or until golden and crispy.
- Serve with gravy.
