Beef Stroganoff Recipe

Beef Stroganoff 

Soul-warming, melt-in-your-mouth tender sirloin with onions, mushrooms & your preferred side

  • Serving size: 4
  • Prep/cook time: 45 mins
  • Meat temp: Medium 


  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp heavy cream 
  • Sirloin
  • 1 cup mushrooms
  • 1 head garlic
  • 1/2 sweet onion, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup beef stock 


  1. Thinly slice the beef (go for 1/4 inch)  and season with salt and pepper 
  2. In a skillet, heat the oil and add the garlic, onion, mushrooms and beef
  3. Cook until the beef is medium, about 8 minutes on medium heat 
  4. Once the meat is at the proper temp, add the butter in the center of the pan, making a well, and add the flour on top of that 
  5. Mix the flour and coat all over the beef mix 
  6. Then add the stock and cook on medium heat until the stock has reduced by half
  7. Then add the heavy cream and sour cream and continue to cook for 3 minutes 
  8. Serve with egg noodles or mashed potatoes
